Jeff was born, brought up and saved in Northumberland in the 1960’s.
He met Jayne at Loughborough University and they’ve just celebrated 40 years of marriage. They have two grown up kids and two growing up grandkids. They’ve been members of New Frontiers Churches for many years and are members of Christ Church Attleborough.
After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Jeff spent a few years working for a large European company before starting an accounting practice in 1989. The business grew and was a leading regional firm when he stepped down to allow a team buyout.
Jeff started a second practice in 2010 which specialised in charities. He sold this business in 2019.
He has been involved in many startups over the years in industries as varied as passenger trains and legal services.
He is a keen musician and enjoys leading worship when the youngsters let him have a go.
Wired by God to do business, Jeff sees no difference between Church life and business life. It’s all about the Kingdom. He loves seeing people grow and ideas come to life.
Jeff says “Business is the mission field for so many people. That’s where they spend their lives.” “We must release people of the idea that church structure is where faith is worked out."
“Business can be part of the solution to so many local challenges such as poverty and unemployment. Christian owned businesses have a big part to play in restoring and developing broken communities”.
He now runs a tax and business consultancy and is a non executive advisor to several businesses. Jeff is a passionate church pioneer and enjoys supporting pioneer church situations and businesses across Europe.
Jeff also REALLY likes hills... Climbing them or skiing down them!
